I’ll just go ahead and admit it…I love Pinterest! It is so convenient and useful for saving stuff that I find and like on the internet, making it easy for me to do a little bit of virtual hoarding. And Pinterest is such a flood of visual information that I think it may have actually been made for real estate brokers . My Pinterest boards include categories related to real estate such as “Homes for Sale in Raleigh,” “Celebrity Homes,” and room-related boards like “Kitchens!” “Dining,” and “Kids!” plus boards that relate to my personal interests such as “Backyard Chickens,” “Funny,” and the oh-so-specific board I call “Things I Like.”
There’s a dark side to Pinterest, though, and that is that Pinterest is addictive and it can cause chunks of time to disappear from your day. It usually works like this:  If I see and pin a fabulous kitchen, that kitchen leads me down a path to more kitchens and more pins and maybe recipes and then…well, you get the picture! And pictures is what it’s all about. I love seeing and saving so many different kinds of styles and ideas and beautiful photographs, but I try to limit my Pinterest time to morning coffee time. And waiting for home inspectors. And snow days. And…
Follow me on Pinterest! We can follow each other and be Pinterest freaks together.
